ABOUT ME
Entrepreneur, strategic thinker and former elite athlete.
I grew up in the antipodes to a family of seafarers and entrepreneurs.
Sport driven since an early age, I was only 15 when I competed at my first Olympics (youngest athlete to ever do so). That record still holds today.
Highlights of my past sporting career include 13 individual windsurfing world titles, #1 world ranking (Olympic windsurfing), 2 times vice World Champion, recipient of the Order of Fiji , Inductee Sports Hall of Fame (Fiji).
As someone who is for the most part extremely lifestyle orientated I've always had a penchant to develop businesses that have a certain ‘art de vivre’. In recent years my company Smart Island Riviera (which I co-founded) has been working on developing new and innovative types of mobile floating islands whose unique business framework not only ensures a high ROI but is inspired by an eco-system ethos which thrives on long term sustainability, clean energy footprint and respect of the ocean environment.
Examples of these floating venues already in existence include Cloud 9 (Fiji) and CANUA Island (France).
Currently residing in Cannes (French Riviera)
For as long as I can remember my pathway has been a montage of many facets. Combining business and lifestyle for a fulfilling existence is a philosophy that incorporates a zen and positive approach with a good dose of integrity and humility which have been my mantra and key driver since many years.
